fine you win

i'll start with the fact that english is not my first language, and even in my first language, i'm not a strong writer. but consuming content for however many years in primarily english has given me the ability to express my thoughts and feelings, even be a little bit funny occasionally. still, writing something longer than a tweet still proves a challenge to me. whatever...i'll do what i can.

i totally forgot that blogger is part of google? one of my resolutions for the new year was to stop relying on google as much. to be honest, i used to disregard the concerns data safety mostly due to ignorance, naively signing up to everything with my gmail and giving my precious information to the kraken, but because i hate ai with burning passion and became more political in general, i started to care. will this word salad end up slurping away a small town's electricity in a data center? i probably should check.

the idea of a blog has started to grow on my though, as i'm writing i feel the words-putting-together-muscles remembering how to flex themselves. not saying that this is good, just that i'm having fun. maybe that means that this could be a worthwhile way to spend my time.

i honestly don't care if anyone reads this. over the last months i fell so out of the habit of sharing things online that i'm back at the stage of feeling a little awkward about it, so i actually prefer to think about this as the scrawling of a madwoman on the wall of an institution that may get discovered in a decade by one urban explorer who develops a parasocial obsession. so, to that person somewhere down the line: hope you have fun too.
